inspired by the global #metoo movement but accommodated to our local community.
" It's not my fault "
We are addressing this campaign to the public so they can identify the causes of sexual violence, change harmful norms related to the acceptability of violence & those of who have survived it; promote respectful behaviour to each other and educate people from a young age so such violence is no longer tolerated.
Only by discussing sexual violence will its various forms -including child sexual abuse, rape, sexual harassment, cyber grooming, blackmail and stalking - decrease.
What we really want is for our intervention to change the current negative language we have around this issue and then we be one step ahead in prevention.
